I am taking this course to satisfy a requirement for the Web Technologies certificate, and eventually a Master's degree. I am also very interested in learning about the process of creating a website. In the short time since this course started, I have learned how to work through the command line and manage version control with Git and Github. I feel like this will be a very productive semester.
In my undergraduate courses I worked with Java, C, and C++, the latter being the one I have the most experience with. I have also worked with technologies like HTML/CSS, XML/XSLT/XQuery, PHP, SQL, Perl, and JavaScript. At work I sometimes use XSLT with our shipping software.
I am working on a desktop PC running Windows 8.1. I also use a laptop running Windows 7.
I am an avid fan of video games and also enjoy anime and manga.
